Step 2

Read the task and the introduction very carefully. Decide who does what.

Step 3

If you have the possibility print the family tree presented in the task, if not copy it to your notebook.

Step 4

Check all websites given in resources. Make some notes.

Step 5

Start saving pictures representing Royal Family together with their names, dates and family collocations.

Step 7

Present you project to the rest of the class. Compare your trees. You should have exactly the same British Royal Family Tress.

2. Zadanie

Your task is to fill in the British Royal Family Tree. You have to take four generations into consideration.

The bold lines mean succession to the throne.

All you have to do is to put the picture showing a person, together with name and the date of birth (and death - if there is one), into the right blank place on the tree. There are some tips included.

1. Wstęp

British Royal Family is one of the oldest in the world. They are the most popular as well. In general The British Royal Family is the group of close relatives of the monarch of the United Kingdom. Although in the United Kingdom there is no strict legal or formal definition of who is or is not a member of the Royal Family, and different lists will include different people, those carrying the style His or Her Majesty (HM), or His or Her Royal Highness (HRH) are always considered members

Members and relatives of the British Royal Family historically represented the monarch in various places throughout the British Empire, for specific ceremonies or events. Today, they often perform ceremonial and social duties throughout the United Kingdom and abroad on behalf of the UK, but, aside from the monarch, have no constitutional role in the affairs of government. Nevertheless it is worth knowing who is who in this family.
